German-American heavy metal legends ACCEPT are gearing up to release their brand-new studio album "The Rise of Chaos" on August 4 through Nuclear Blast. A day before the official release, the band will kick things off with a special performance at Germany’s iconic Wacken Open Air festival on August 3.
The Wacken show will be divided into three distinct segments: First, fans can expect a full-throttle ACCEPT set featuring both timeless classics and newer tracks. Next, guitarist Wolf Hoffmann will take the stage with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra to perform pieces from his 2016 solo effort "Headbangers Symphony", where he reimagined works by Beethoven, Mozart, and Vivaldi through a metal lens. Finally, the night will culminate in a grand fusion—ACCEPT and the orchestra will join forces for a massive, multimedia-enhanced finale that promises to shake the grounds of Wacken.
