It seems like forming new projects with veteran musicians is trending. Carnivore — active briefly in the '80s with two albums including their genre-blending 1985 debut — sees guitarist Paul Bento teaming up with current Whiplash bassist Rich Day and drummer Joe Cangelosi (ex-Whiplash, Deathcorps, Massacre, Kreator). Together, they’ve launched a new thrash/punk/hardcore outfit called Brooklyn Militia and are currently looking for a vocalist.
