A new crossover project has formed under the name Death Ray Vision. Influenced by '80s American HC punk/thrash like Cro-Mags, D.R.I., Wehrmacht, and Leeway, the band includes members of Shadows Fall and Killswitch Engage — notable given their metalcore roots. Interestingly, one guitarist from Shadows Fall also recently joined Exhumed. This may be their first raw attempt at channeling hardcore metal authenticity.
