American power/speed metal legends Helstar, silent since their 1995 album, are making a return. Guitarists Larry Barragan and Rob Trevino, from the 1986 classic "Remnants Of War" lineup, revealed in an interview that the band has officially reunited and is working on new material. Vocalist James Rivera and bassist Jerry Abarca are also on board, with drummer Russell De Leon (from 1995's "Multiples of Black") replacing Rene Luna. The band promises a classic Helstar sound with improved production, mixing dark, aggressive, and melodic moments.
