In the midst of old-school death metal resurgence, Gothenburg's Miasmal emerges with a much-anticipated debut album set for release in April 2011. Blending early Swedish crust and death metal from the late '80s and early '90s, the album will be available on CD through Dark Descent Records and on vinyl via Detest Records and Me Saco Un Ujo. The CD edition features 8 new tracks along with 6 bonus tracks from the band's acclaimed EP 'Miasmal'. Notably, Fenriz from Darkthrone featured the band on his MySpace 'Band Of The Week' segment, praising their 2008 demo.
