Finland's Sadistik Forest, formed in 2007, blends 80s black/thrash metal influences with early 90s death metal and contemporary brutality. Dedicated to preserving the spirit of extreme metal, their self-titled debut drops on August 12. Influences include Possessed, Sodom, Morbid Angel, Brutal Truth, Celtic Frost, Cannibal Corpse, Darkthrone, Carcass, and Mayhem.
