Coming straight from Santiago, Chile, a city notorious for spawning some of the most violent and chaotic black/thrash/death bands, Perversor continues to channel pure carnage from this cursed ground.
Since their 2008 release Cult of Destruction, influenced by bands like Blasphemy, Archgoat, Sarcófago, Sodom, and local legends like Death Yell and Pentagram, they’ve sharpened their tools of war considerably. While their debut was already a crushing effort, it suffered from slightly buried vocals and a lack of solos—but never to the point of weakness.
However, with The Shadow of Abomination, the band delivers a much more focused and aggressive strike. The production is just right—raw but clear, unrefined but brutal. This time, the vocals rip through the mix with searing, reverberating growls and infernal screams that spread unholy terror like wildfire. And yes—this time we even get blistering guitar solos, most notably in the standout track “Slaughter of the Innocent,” injecting the chaos with an extra layer of old-school flair.
This EP is a relentless war metal bombardment an offering of satanic bestiality forged in hell's boiling cauldrons. It oozes with the kind of primitive and violent old-school essence that strikes without mercy. The riffs hammer down like a curse, the rhythm changes pummel the listener, and the vocals sound like a demon vomiting flames over a battlefield. The blastbeats never relent—they carry the EP like a storm of destruction.
