Girlschool interview with Jax Chambers

Rock'n'roll is part of life, and it’s still alive—just like these girls who became a part of history over 30 years ago. When they first appeared on the scene, there had hardly been any all-female bands apart from The Runaways, so it's undeniable that Girlschool played a pioneering role. At the time, they stormed the NWOBHM movement with albums like “Demolition,” especially “Hit and Run” and “Screaming Blue Murder.” There was even the iconic Headgirl collaboration with Motörhead, and Girlschool have long been known as the “sisters” of Lemmy’s crew. In memory of Kelly Johnson (R.I.P.) and in celebration of the band’s 30th anniversary, they released “Legacy” with a lineup of incredible guest musicians. Recently, we reached out to both Denise Dufort and Jackie Chambers, and they accepted our interview request without hesitation. Krabathor interview with Petr Kryštof

They were one of the bands that has perfectly deserved the term 90's underground death metal noise of Central Europe. Heavily influenced from German Thrash and morbid sound of Celtic Frost, t he band was formed in the late 80's, so they especially hit the underground death metal scene with "Orthodox" and it has continued until "Dissuade Truth". Krabathor is not active band nowadays, but we contacted with Christopher (Petr Kryštof) to do an interview about band's current state and past.

In fact, no need for many words to say about them, they are one of the leaders of the Extreme metal genre, a huge band of the underground scene! In the 80s, with a few cult albums in the way of Old School Black/Thrash metal, these guys influenced many bands and defined the form of South American metal. Although they haven't been inactive in the 1990s, now they have knocked down about 30 years and here is an interview with Zhema Rodero who is the band's founder and guitarist.

DRI interview with Spike Cassidy

In 1981, some guys appeared from Texas who called themselves "dirty rotten imbeciles", they were under the influence of the Punk scene. They wrote short songs and played fast, aggressive, furious music so a bridge was created between Punk, Hardcore, and American Thrash Metal. This style was called "Crossover", and D.R.I. brought an interesting Punk Metal pattern to the scene.

This style would gain huge respect and caused the birth of a genre. But they haven't released a new album since 1995. Finally, Morbidzine contacted the U.S.A.'s legend Crossover guys D.R.I., here is an interview with Spike Cassidy!
